writing like mad in the middle of the night
ideas popping up left and right

can I fall over?
can I rest my head?
can I close my eyes?
can I sleep?

yay

before: orange-pink and lavender
now: gray and dark

blanket over my head
watch predators catch prey
snuggle up for warmth
hope piranhas don’t get my toes

ear oh ear
when will you stop?
my head hurts enough

cat on a violin
watch her smile
watch her play
joy and charisma for days

boop boop

dragon sits in inferno
her scales are fireproof
but the heat cracks them
now she’s vulnerable
please blow out the candles

I follow the rules
but the rules change
