Poem #349
plans planned
plans undone
plans made
plans remade
plans canceled
plans extended
Poem #348
rubs his cheek
against my glasses
against my hand
puts his paw
on my arm
on my chest
drags his tongue
on my finger
on my elbow
Poem #347
turn upside down
hard to keep eyes open
this is death
I’m dying
it’s not so bad
feels funny
but overall it’s acceptable
Poem #346
she draped a towel over her shoulders
and tied it in a loose knot under her chin
she felt powerful now
even though she only did it to stay warm
she walked around the cold office
her power manifested in confident strides
she was a superhero
towers of cardboard boxes were her cityscape
she strode among them keeping watch
no one dared misbehave in her city
she continued work
Poem #345
business decisions
mixed with traffic and rain
way to feel like an adult
we never rest
Poem #344
turn upside down
lament eating too much
go to sleep
Poem #343
flying above the world
everything is seen
we are magic
Poem #342
raw lips
muted ears
burning nose
aching throat
distressed insides
tired body
Poem #341
purring gray thing in my lap
curious paws up my chest
