sleep, ragdoll, sleep
on the crinkly couch
no one likes you
over the uncomfortable
you reign supreme

is fairplay

go to one gathering
go to another
so different
but the same name

pit bull runs in his sleep
snoring and moving
he chases the ball
and calms down to chew

writing like mad in the middle of the night
ideas popping up left and right

can I fall over?
can I rest my head?
can I close my eyes?
can I sleep?

before: orange-pink and lavender
now: gray and dark

blanket over my head
watch predators catch prey
snuggle up for warmth
hope piranhas don’t get my toes

ear oh ear
when will you stop?
my head hurts enough
