Poem #826

April 19, 2019April 19, 2019 ~ Georgia Tell ~ Leave a comment

I have more than a few apps on my phone that
I no longer touch, because winning is pointless

the dripping
that is what’s gonna kill me
thick disillusionment oozing down
spreading out
over my skin

it’s nothing but a game
and I like winning
but after a certain point
I have enough experience
that quitting is preferable
